What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
Tab Trade — The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
